Solidarische Produktion von Atemschutzmasken

Schon über 350 Masken für griechisches Geflüchtetenlager genäht.

Der syrische Schneider Nizar Al Humsi  von der Embassy of Hope stellt seit einigen Wochen in unseren Räumen Atemschutzmasken her, die an die Geflüchteten-Selbstorganisation „Butterfliessolidarity“ geschickt werden. Die Organisation wurde von der jungen afghanischen Schriftstellerin und Aktivistin Parwana Amiri – aktuell selbst Bewohnerin des Geflüchtetenlagers Ritsona – gegründet. Sie schafft Aufmerksamkeit für die schwierige Situation in den Geflüchetenlagern, die durch die Corona-Pandemie noch verschärft wird. Auf Instagram unter: @parwanaamiriofficial

Already more than 350 mouth and nose masks for people living in Greek refugee camps produced. Syrian tailor Nizar Al Humsi from the  Embassy of Hope has been working in the Kölibri in the last week. The masks will be sent to the self-organisation „Butterfliessolidarity„. The organization was founded by the young Afghan writer and activist Parwana Amiri – currently a resident of the Ritsona refugee camp – and draws attention to the difficult situation in the refugee camps, which has increased by the corona pandemic.
